Week 2 help
Benny is snatching his leash as he is on my left side and within 4 feet. He’s keeping up with me but I know this needs a correction. I have some time tomorrow (Wednesday May 6th) 4-6 pm if anyone is free or around to meet me with some tips and their pup for some distraction.
I wouldn’t worry too much about much on the leash grabbing at the moment, he is trying to understand what is going on, Normal for him to do this, at this point in the training. some ideas is to do some planted distraction’s. I would use some toys balls etc. also some food on white paper plates. You will LL towards them and counter as soon as he is out of that 3to 4ft safety zone, until he can say no to the distraction. I won’t be available until 5:30.
